It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Suzanne Muriel Irene Hibbit nee Deamer, January 30, 2025, in her 74th year.
Suzanne leaves behind her beloved husband of 55 years, Gerald Matthew Hibbit. A proud mother of Tammy, Jody and JJ (Gerald Jr). Adored Nanny (grandmother) to her cherished grandsons Lucas, Justin, Nolan, Jackson, Evan and Kurtis. Suzanne was the youngest of five siblings and will be tremendously missed by her brother Harry and predeceased by Ronald Deamer, John Deamer and Dianne O’Donnell (Deamer).
Suzanne will be greatly missed by her many nieces and nephews and the many friends she leaves behind.
A beautifully talented seamstress who loved to spend time planning and completing home decor projects and tailored alterations. Her skills will be missed by family and friends. Suzanne was also well known for bringing the community and residents of Park Place Retirement together with themed dances, events and organized fun.
Cremation has taken place at Suzanne’s request and a celebration of life has been planned for March 22, 2025, from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm at Park Place Community Center, 39 Ryther Road, Wasaga Beach.
