William “Bill” Laughlin of Grass Lake, Michigan, originally from Wasaga Beach, Ontario, age 50, passed away Tuesday January 2, 2024, surround by friends and family.
He was born August 27, 1973, in Collingwood, Ontario the son of Larry Laughlin and Mary Fraser who preceded him in death. Bill is survived by his boys, Chase, and Austin Laughlin; sister, Elizabeth (Oneil) Monroe; niece, Shaughnessy, and numerous cousins.
Bill’s boys were his world, he was a loving and caring father. He cherished the time spent with his boys, going to their sporting events. Bill had an unprecedented work ethic, and he taught his boys the same. His boys worked with him on his lawn care business, Laughlin & Sons, where he taught them the value of hard work. He enjoyed watching any racing, including racing himself. Bill was a friend to many and always ready to offer a helping hand with anything. He had an infectious smile and a deep belly laugh that will be missed by all.

A celebration of life will be held in Grass Lake, Michigan on Saturday January 20th, 2024, at Sawd’s Village Inn, located at 12000 E. Michigan Ave, Grass Lake, MI 49240 at 2 o’clock where all are welcome to come and celebrate Bill’s life and to reconnect with his Boys.
An additional celebration of life will be held in Wasaga Beach in February for those that are unable to travel to Michigan. Details will be shared by friends and family at a later date.
