Died peacefully on Thursday May 9, 2024 at her home at the age of 84. Bertha of Wasaga Beach, beloved wife of the late Bill Lyman (2010).
Loving mother of Robert (the late Janice Dixon), Heather Barker (Shannon Chevalier) and William D. Lyman. Cherished Nana of Janine Bent (Steve Smith) , Alysha Barker, Robert Barker, Chris Barker, Kayley Lyman and Nicole Lyman (Mother Sheri) and GG to her great grandchild Roland, and Nana B to her great grandchildren Brooklynn, Braedon, Bryson, Dawson and Dayna. Bertha is survived by sister Hilary (Alec Calderwood).
Bertha was a kind and genuine woman who always had a positive attitude. She enjoyed her word search puzzles and never missed an episode of Coronation Street. She will be missed.
Friends are invited to join her family at the Carruthers & Davidson Funeral Home -Stayner Chapel, 7313 Highway 26, Stayner on Saturday, May 25, 2024 from 3 to 5 p.m. for a come and go celebration with light refreshments. Private interment Stayner Union Cemetery.
