Dianne passed away peacefully at Campbell House Hospice on October 23, 2023.
Dianne was predeceased by her beloved husband Ross. She was the proud and loving mother of Shawn and Darren (Irene) McLean and treasured Nana of Kyle & Kaitlyn. Survived by her sister Janet Calvert and sister-in-law Shirley Jackson. She will be remembered fondly by many nieces and nephews.
Dianne loved all animals, but her dog Lila was her most devoted companion.
Dianne graduated from St. Joseph’s Nurses College in 1962 and continued to be a fabulous nurse with a lengthy career at Collingwood General & Marine Hospital and Sunset Manor. She was a proud member of the Nurses Alumni.
Dianne was an avid golfer and loved to play Bridge and Mahjong. She was a member of Probus and the Red Hats and enjoyed spending time with her lunch ladies.
Everyone who knew her will remember Dianne’s smile, kindness, and generous spirit. She lived and loved with her whole heart.
Visitation will be held Monday October 30, 2023, from 7- 9 p.m. at Fawcett Funeral Home. Funeral service will take place in the chapel on Tuesday October 31, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. followed by a reception at the Royal Canadian Legion Collingwood.
