Died peacefully on Monday November 11, 2024, at Campbell House Hospice, Collingwood. Dorothy of Wasaga Beach, beloved wife of Frank for over 60 years. Loving mother of Dawn (Mike Bruno). Cherished grandma of Ashley (Jamie), Michael (Megan), Patrick and Samantha (Antonio) and great grandmother of Gabriel. Dear sister of Eileen Taylor, Sylvia Cornell and the late James Mills. She will also be missed by her many nieces and nephews, friends and neighbours. Dorothy was a loving, generous and feisty woman. Her personality sparkled as much as she sparkled on the outside. She loved her family deeply and would love to gather everyone together and feed them. Dorothy was a wonderful cook and enjoyed preparing her famous recipes for everyone. In quieter moments she enjoyed reading and doing crosswords, word searches and scratching her instant bingo tickets.
Friends are invited to join her family at the Carruthers & Davidson Funeral Home – Wasaga Beach Chapel, 509 River Road West, Wasaga Beach on Saturday November 16, 2024, from 2 to 4 p.m. for a come and go social gathering.
