Died suddenly at home on Friday, July 12, 2024 at the age of 44 years. Shawn was the youngest child of Russell “Jack” Nelson and Deborah (nee Sproule). Cherished father of Ralston Patrick Gordon Russell Nelson and Cheyanne Ona Irene Michelle Nelson. Loving brother of Chrystal Nelson and Lisa Harwood (Wes). Shawn will also be remembered by his nieces Alexa Robertson, Emily Robertson, his nephews Joshua Harwood, Jack Harwood, his aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends in Guelph. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and his frequent visits to Tim Hortons for his usual double double coffee, and sometimes leave with one in each hand. Shawn loved to tinker and had recently purchased a 1947 Studebaker Pick up truck with plans to restore it.
