Peacefully at Campbell House Hospice on September 26, 2022, in her 86th year. Loving wife of the late John Palmer. Cherished mother of Johnny (Angie), the late Douglas (surviving spouse Ashlee), Danny (Carrie), Peggy Ham (the late Les) and Susan Cubello (Fulvio). Proud Grandma of Jesse (Kristy), Alana (James), Matthew (Mariah), Dayton (Caitlin) Jonathan, Joel, Trinity, Clove, and Takoda. Her Great Grandchildren Hayden, Cameron, Kaleb, Ava, and Ella. Predeceased by her sister Ann Houlding and brothers Dayton and Neil (surviving spouse Maddy). Phyllis was the favorite lunch lady at CCI, she loved playing softball in her younger years. When her grandchildren arrived, she was a rink grandma during the winter and summer she would take to the roads on her bicycle racing from soccer pitch to soccer pitch to make sure that she didn’t miss a single game. A celebration of life will take place on October 12, 2022 at the Royal Canadian Legion Br 63 Collingwood beginning at 12:30pm. to 3pm., with words of comfort at 1pm..In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hospice Georgian Triangle in memory of Phyllis.
