Thomas Wayne Peterson, born in Newmarket on July 17th, 1952, passed peacefully at Campbell House Hospice in Collingwood on July 19th, 2024 at the age of 72.
Tom was an avid golfer who enjoyed both playing and watching golf. He also loved to follow the Blue Jays and the Toronto Maple Leafs. A good single malt scotch or a Wiser’s with Pepsi was also enjoyed on occasion. Tom touched many lives along the way with his sense of humour. He was loved by all who met him.
Tom is survived by his spouse Louise, daughter Denise (John), son Neil (Laurren), step-daughter Lauren (Dave), step-son Brandon (Danelle), grandchildren Briggs, Brynnly, Orion, Sienna, Beckham, sisters Beverly, Betty Ann, Debbie, Susie and Karen.
Predeceased by brothers Fred and Ron and sister Barb.
A Celebration of Tom’s Life will take place at the Marsh Street Centre on Friday, August 9, 2024 from 4 until 7 p.m.
