1937 – 2024
Peacefully at Collingwood General and Marine Hospital on Jan 19th with his loving wife Joan by his side on the eve of their 61st wedding anniversary, having endured many health issues over the past few years. He leaves to mourn, his sons Rob, Trish Donohue (D-2015) and Doug (Heather Leach-Sage). Proud Papa to Lyle, McCaul (D-2015), Roan, Connor, Annie and Lucy. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his brothers Allan and Bill.
John enjoyed many sports as a long-time member of Craigleith Ski Club, tennis, golf and curling.
