Died peacefully surrounded by her family on Sunday January 19, 2025 at Campbell House Hospice, Collingwood at the age of 75. Linda of Wasaga Beach, beloved wife of Steve for over 52 years. Loving mother of James (Annette) and Michelle (Rob Cowan). Grandmother to Tanya (Brent) and their family and Adam (Courtney). Dear sister of the late Gail, the late Lorna, Bonnie, Aubrey and Bill and their families. Linda was a devoted member of the Wasaga Beach community, known by many during her tenure as Assistant Postmaster. She enjoyed golfing and escaping the colder climate over the years, spending winters in Florida, she was an avid reader and would tackle any crossword puzzle. She enjoyed her social time with her many friends and sharing a Bud Light or two. She lived her life with purpose and on her own terms. She will be deeply missed. Linda's family thank all the health care providers that cared for her and her family during Linda's illness. Dr. Kate Stead, who even made house calls, those nurses and PSWs that came into her home and the exceptional staff of Campbell House. Thank you for making Linda's journey peaceful. Private family arrangements with interment at Wasaga Beach Cemetery. If desired, a donation to Hospice Georgian Triangle Foundation for Campbell House would be appreciated.
