On Wednesday June 8, 2022, in her 85th year, Gale Diane Smith, surrounded by loved ones, went home to be with her Lord and Saviour, Jesus and to be reunited with her beloved mother, Beryl Poplaski, husband Donald Smith, her son, Brent Smith, and her best friend Vivian Uggenti.
Gale will be forever missed and remembered by her children, Don Smith (Beth), Bob Fuller (Lisette), Kim Day (Bruce), Kimberly Smith (Trevor), Tammie Wilson, Dawn Leppert (Ken), her sister Donna McNabb (Don), her many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren, cousins and her beloved friends.
Gale was a loving, loyal mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Her message to all was “We never say goodbye, we say see you later” and “If you don’t have a dime between you, you always have family.”
Friends are invited to join her family at the Chatterson Funeral Home, 404 Hurontario Street, Collingwood on Thursday June 16, 2022 from 11a.m. – 12:45p.m. for the Celebration of her life at 1p.m. The ceremony will be lived streamed for those unable to attend.
