Died peacefully at Campbell House Hospice, Collingwood on Saturday, October 26, 2024 in her 89th year.
Marilyn of Wasaga Beach, beloved wife of the late Gord (2016) for 60 years. Loving mom to Bruce, Julie, Joanne and Terry. She loved her 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
Marilyn and Gord met at a roller rink. She used to be an avid walker and liked to read, knit and garden. She met many nice friends at bingo and the seniors club where she and Gord played darts and helped out with summer darts. Marilyn loved cats and always had 1 or 3. She used to walk the beach and check out all the nooks and crannies. She always said she was lucky to reach this age and that she had such good neighbours.
At her request, cremation arrangements have been entrusted to the Carruthers & Davidson Funeral Home, 509 River Road West, Wasaga Beach and a family gathering has taken place.
