TRACEY, Oliver David

Tracey, Oliver David died peacefully yet unexpectedly at the Collingwood General & Marine Hospital on Sunday, December 15, 2024 having just celebrated his 92nd birthday.

Oliver, of Collingwood, was the beloved husband of Pauline (nee Eberhardt) for 74 years. Loving father of Sharon (Denis) and Wayne (Kathryn). Cherished grandfather of Jennifer (Alex) and Kelley. Treasured great-grandfather of Charles, Ellie and Lea. Deeply missed by his sisters Marilyn (David), Shirley (the late Norm) and sister-in-law Ruby (the late James); he was predeceased by his sister Loverne (Ken), and sisters and brothers-in-law Chip (Jean), Roger (Marie) and Sarah (William). Oliver will be fondly remembered as a kind man and overall great guy by his nieces, nephews, his dear friends Greg and Rose Stephens, as well as his extended family and many friends.

Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to the Chatterson Funeral Home, 404 Hurontario Street, Collingwood. No formal services will be held at this time; however a celebration of Oliver’s life is being planned for the spring. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Collingwood General & Marine Hospital Foundation in memory of Oliver would be appreciated by the family.
