A Collingwood man faces charges for prohibited and impaired driving following a call to police about a suspicious vehicle.
Huronia West Ontario Provincial Police officers responded to the call on Bayfield Street North in Springwater on Jan. 27 at 8:33 a.m. Officers located the vehicle and noted the driver showed signs of impairment.
A 26-year-old from Collingwood was arrested and charged with operation while impaired with a blood alcohol concentration of 80 or above, and operation while prohibited under the criminal code.
The accused is scheduled to appear in court at a later date.
