The local OPP detachment is reminding residents to keep their homes, sheds and cars locked following four reported break-and-enters overnight from Tuesday to Wednesday.
According to a news release from Collingwood and The Blue Mountains OPP, the incidents, which were reported Wednesday morning, took place overnight from Tuesday to Wednesday, at properties on Glen Rogers Road in Collingwood where several sheds were broken into, and various items were stolen.
Investigation is ongoing and anyone with information on these incidents is asked to contact the Collingwood OPP at 705-445-4321 or Crime Stoppers to remain anonymous at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or https://ontariocrimestoppers.
"A good reminder of the Lock it or Lose it tips include not only locking your vehicles, residences and garages but also to put away any valuables inside your residence or attached garage," states the police news release. "As well have good lighting around your residence and include the use of motion-activated lights in areas less travelled on your property."
