There's a heavy police presence in Collingwood's east end off Highway 26 in the area of Marine View Drive and along roads heading to the waterfront.
Police cruisers have blocked roads in the area, and passersby report several cruisers in the area.
Others have spotted officers in combat gear carrying rifles.
OPP Central Region tweeted officers are searching for two male suspects in the area.
