Local police arrested a female youth following an investigation into two armed robberies at a Wasaga Beach gas station.
Police report the Petro Canada Gas station was robbed on June 26 and June 20. In each case, the suspect entered the gas station with a knife and demanded cash, cigarettes and vapes.
Huronia West Ontario Provincial Police confirmed a female youth from Wasaga Beach turned herself in at the police detachment. She was charged with two counts of robbery with a weapon, and was held pending a show cause hearing.
