The Owen Sound Transportation Company is seeking applications for the Director of Finance and Procurement.
“The Director of Finance and Procurement is responsible for accounting and financial administration, payroll, establishing and overseeing the Owen Sound Transportation Company (OSTC) budget process, as well as reporting financial results, billing, and reporting to the Ministry of Transportation (MTO) Finance, MTO Operations, and MTO Oversight, among other responsibilities,” explained a spokesperson.
The Director will also oversee all staff within the Finance and Procurement department including productivity and performance management, attendance management, and professional growth and development.
The successful candidate will have CPA designation coupled with eight plus years of relevant accounting and finance experience, and knowledge of Public Sector Accounting Standards. Experience working for a government organization would be considered an asset in the application.
Financial renumeration for this position is in the range of $125,000 to $165,000. In addition, the position offers the potential for Hybrid Work, a defined Benefit Pension Plan, Health and Dental Benefits, Employee and Family Assistance Program, and Professional Development Opportunities.
