Grey Bruce Health Unit confirms zero remaining COVID cases in region

All previously reported cases in the region have now recovered and there have been zero deaths reported in Grey and Bruce Counties.

According to today’s situation report from the Grey Bruce Health Unit (GBHU), there are officially no active cases of COVID-19 in Grey and Bruce Counties.

The health unit reports that there have been 115 cases of COVID-19 in the region to-date.

Of the cumulative total, 109 cases have recovered and six were referred to other health units.

The GBHU is one of the only health units in Ontario to continue to have no deaths as a result of COVID.

GBHU Infectious Disease Team will continue with case and contact management, reporting, and responding to COVID-19 related calls.

Confirmed COVID-19 cases in Grey County included - Owen Sound (52); Southgate (15); Grey Highlands (6); West Grey (6); Blue Mountains (5); Meaford (4); Georgian Bluffs (2); Hanover (2); Chatsworth (1). Bruce County had 22 confirmed cases.
