The arrival of sunny skies and warm weather means road construction is gearing up across the local region.

The county reminds the public that planned construction dates are estimated. Projects may be impacted by weather conditions and other delays.
The public is asked to plan their routes and allow extra time to safely reach their destination if travelling through a planned construction zone. Always pay attention to signage and be extra cautious in areas of active construction when workers are present.
The county follows its asset management plan to help determine which road projects to invest in each year. Decisions are based on several factors, including condition rating and estimated lifespan. A 10-year construction and resurfacing map is available online.
