The Grey County Historical Society will be paying a visit to Ravenna.

The Historical Society’s June meeting will be held in Ravenna Saturday, June 22 at 1:30 pm.

The public is welcome to join members of the Historical Society and the Grand Orange Lodge Ontario West as they celebrate the 150th anniversary of the last active Loyal Orange Lodge in Grey, Bruce and Dufferin counties.

It will be a chance to enjoy an opportunity to see inside the Maple Leaf Lodge 1396 Ravenna, which continues the traditions of community engagement, to discover what was happening 150 years ago and to learn about the historical legacy and continued value of the Loyal Orange Lodge.

The meeting starts at the Ravenna Community Centre and then there will be a tour of the Maple Leaf Lodge 1396 Ravenna, which is located directly across the road from the community centre.
