Six Grey County paramedics have been recognized by the province for their years of exceptional service.
The Emergency Medical Services Exemplary Service Medal is awarded to professionals who have served at least 20 years in emergency medical services and performed their life-saving duties to the highest standard of care, conduct, and efficiency.
At the March 13, 2025, meeting of Grey County Council, Sherry Foster, Paul Sollors, and Stephany Wilson were recognized for their outstanding service. Melissa Kaufman, Shaunna Schafer, and Bradi Watson also received awards but were unable to attend the meeting.
"These dedicated paramedics have demonstrated remarkable commitment to emergency medical services throughout their careers," Kevin McNab, director of paramedic services for the county, said in a news release.
