The Town of The Blue Mountains is informing residents of an upcoming change to municipal water and wastewater service billing dates.
Effective Jan. 1, 2025, all payments for water and wastewater charges will be due 21 calendar days from the bill mailing date. This change will commence with the Jan. bill, covering usage from Nov. 1 to Dec. 31. Water and wastewater bills will be mailed within seven calendar days following the end of the billing period. This update aims to align due dates with the end of the month following the billing period.
The town is asking that residents who utilize municipal water and wastewater services adjust their payment schedules accordingly to avoid any late payment penalties. Pre-authorized payment plans are available for your convenience.
