The Town of The Blue Mountains is excited to announce the results of the 3rd Annual Give The Gift of Blue Shop Local Contest, including the grand prize draw winners.
New this year, the contest had four grand prizes for participants to win. Each grand prize had a specific theme, filled with local products and experiences. The four winners and their respective prizes are listed below:
- The Artist – Jonquil Foster
- The Explorer – Carol Thomson
- The Foodie – Caroline Nicholson
- The Relaxer – Holly Murphy

2022 Campaign Results
Building on the success of the prior campaigns, the 3rd Annual Give The Gift of Blue Shop Local Contest ran from December 1, 2022, to January 1, 2023, and featured four grand prizes worth $1,000 each. The grand prizes were curated and exclusively selected from businesses within the Town of The Blue Mountains. Participants earned an entry to the contest by making a purchase within the Town during the contest period. Entries could be submitted online or with paper ballots entered at various locations in the community.
The 2022 contest period saw over 750 total entries, with reported retail sales of over $60,000 at businesses throughout the community over the holiday season.
