Call for Applications for Public Appointments to The Town of The Blue Mountains Youth Climate Action Fund Project Team

The Town of The Blue Mountains is seeking applications, in the form of letters of interest, from members of the public to fill two vacancies on the Town of The Blue Mountains Youth Climate Action Fund Project Team.

The Youth Climate Action Fund Project Team is a 7 member Project Team. At this time, two members of the public are being sought.

The Project Team is currently comprised of:

  • Mayor Andrea Matrosovs
  • Councillor Gail Ardiel
  • Councillor Alex Maxwell 
  • Sustainability Coordinator of the Town 
  • Communications and Economic Development Coordinator of the Town 

Applicants are encouraged to include background information and any special qualifications or interests related to the appointment.  Information regarding the Youth Climate Action Fund Project can be found at Town of The Blue Mountains Participating in Bloomberg Philanthropies Youth Climate Action Fund

NOTE:  Applicants shall be qualified electors within the Town of The Blue Mountains.  Representatives and/or organization members planning to apply for the YCAF funding are not eligible for appointment to the Youth Climate Action Fund Project Team.  The selected applicants will be required to complete reference checks in advance of being appointed by Council.
