The Town of The Blue Mountains would like to advise the public of upcoming temporary road closures. Louisa Street West and Alice Street West will be closed from Victoria Street South to Elma Street South for the continuation of the Thornbury West Phase 1A Reconstruction project. The closure of Louisa Street is tentatively scheduled to begin on Monday, May 8, with the closure of Alice Street tentatively scheduled to begin on Monday, May 29.
The roads will remain closed seven days a week to all traffic with the exception of emergency vehicles and local traffic. For further information regarding construction impacts, please review the Construction Notice. All construction is anticipated to be completed by August 2023, but the road closures may be lifted before that time based on progress.
