The Town of The Blue Mountains Council passed a resolution at the July 12, 2023, Council Meeting allowing licensed establishments in the Town of The Blue Mountains to extend the allowable hours for liquor sales during the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup.
Town Council received Information Bulletin No.71 from the AGCO regarding the Extension of Hours for the FIFA Women's World Cup 2023. The Information Bulletin states that the AGCO will allow liquor sale licensees to extend their hours of sales and service to begin at 7:00 a.m. for the duration of the tournament (July 20 - August 20, 2023).
The resolution states that Town Council has no objection to the extension of hours for local establishments during the tournament and will allow the extended hours in accordance with all AGCO rules and regulations.
