CollingwoodToday, in partnership with the Georgian Triangle Humane Society, brings you a regular feature highlighting a special pet that is in need of adoption.

Meet Slurpy, the Georgian Triangle Humane Society (GTHS) pet of the week.
Slurpy is a nine-year-old cat who is hoping to find a fur-ever home soon. She is a very loving, affectionate cat, but she can be shy at first. She would need a bit of time to adjust to a new environment. Once she is settled in, her sweet personality will shine brightly. A home with no small kids and no other pets would be best for her.
She is also in the GTHS Special Paws program as she is on a medication called IMT, which is a type of anemia. It’s important Slurpy stays on this medicine for a while longer.
At $25 for her adoption fee, Slurpy is ready to meet you. Read more about her here: gths.ca/animals-for-adoption.
