LETTER: Bike lane bill a distraction and abuse of power

Meanwhile, province makes it easier to trade farmland for bypass and urban sprawl, says letter writer

It seems to me that with Bill 212, Doug Ford and the Conservatives are trying to distract us, by attempting to abuse provincial power to prevent municipalities from making their local streets safer.

In the meantime, they're making it easier for the province to take land from owners for highways that will cost billions (e.g., 413, Bradford bypass) and turn farmland and protected green space into more urban sprawl, with minimal environmental review.
