LETTER: Donating rebate cheque better than returning it

Instead of returning the cheques, I am going to donate my funds to the local soup kitchen.

I don't think returning the money to Mr. Ford will have any impact on him.

I am financially secure so I don't need his bribe and I keep thinking that the money, as well as the $175 million it will cost to have this unnecessary election, could have been better spent on an increase to ODSP, or education or health.

Mr. Ford already had a mandate from Ontarians. There are always new issues that didn't arise during an election.

An election in February - really? There is just so much wrong with this payout and the early election call.
