This year's 24-hour ski-a-thon fundraiser will be supporting local Special Olympics teams and the Blue Mountain Village Foundation.
The annual 24H BLUE MTN event returns this Feb. 22-23 and will again include an overnight relay that requires all participating teams to have a skier on the hill for every one of the 24 hours of the event.
Since 2018, the fundraiser has been supporting Special Olympics plus one other local charity.
The event takes place at Blue Mountain and this year will include the Squire John's Escarpment Challenge, which is a competition between the seven private ski clubs for the title of most laps on the hill and highest fundraising.
Anyone can participate by creating a team for the event and or donating to the fundraising goal of $300,000.
Funds raised for Blue Mountain Village Foundation will be given to local organizations and charities in the form of grants.
