Weather advisory issued for:

  • Barrie - Collingwood - Hillsdale
  • Owen Sound - Blue Mountains - Northern Grey County
  • Mount Forest - Arthur - Northern Wellington County

Current details:
Winter weather travel advisory in effect for Friday.

What:
Total snowfall accumulations five to 10 cm.
Peak snowfall rates of two to four cm per hour.
Reduced visibility in heavy snow.

When:
Late Friday morning into Friday evening.

Additional information:
An Alberta Clipper will bring snow, heavy at times, to the area. The heaviest snowfall is expected late Friday morning and afternoon, thus likely impacting the afternoon commute.

Be prepared to adjust your driving with changing road conditions. If visibility is reduced while driving, turn on your lights and maintain a safe following distance.
