NEWS RELEASE
GREEN PARTY OF ONTARIO
*************************
Allan Kuhn has been nominated as the Ontario Greens’ candidate in Simcoe-Grey.
Kuhn is a social farmer with a certificate in organic agriculture management. He works for a local non-profit on a five-acre organic market garden that employs people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
He’s a well-known face at local farmers’ markets and first ran as an Ontario Greens’ candidate in the 2022 provincial election.
“Together, with our families, our friends, and our neighbours we can do more to protect the people and places we love,” said Kuhn. “Doug Ford’s government is ignoring the needs of our community to waste billions of dollars on projects in the GTA.”
“Allan recognizes the need for new, lasting solutions that address the concerns of people in Simcoe-Grey while protecting the farmland that feeds us,” said Ontario Greens’ leader, Mike Schreiner. “I know he’ll be a strong voice for his community at Queen’s Park.”
Originally from Guelph, Kuhn has lived in Angus, Ont., for more than 17 years.
