Black History Museum celebrates local accomplishments this month

The Sheffield Park Black History and Cultural Museum, with the support of the Town of Collingwood, will be celebrating the local accomplishments of Black residents this week. 

On Tuesday, the museum is hosting an event at the Heritage Community Church (310 Seventh St.) called Recognizing Local Black Accomplishments in honour of Black History Month. 

The event begins at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 27 and will run until about 1 p.m. All are welcome.
