The Collingwood Downtown Santa Claus Parade took place Nov. 16.

It was a beautiful, unusually warm day for the Collingwood Downtown Santa Claus Parade, and the spirit of the season was alive in downtown Collingwood.

The crowds enjoyed a magical, light-filled parade as one of the highlights of a day filled with Christmas celebrations.

Many commercial businesses, non-profit organizations, and youth groups presented entries that celebrated the holiday season with music and lights. The theme of this year’s parade was Santa’s Workshop and many embraced the theme with amazing and imaginative floats. Thanks to all the participants and congratulations to the winners.

Second place — Georgian Shores Construction Ltd.
Third place — Serendipity Soy Candles

Service clubs/non-profit organizations

First place — Collingwood Agricultural Society/Great Northern Exhibition
Second place — Georgian Triangle Anglers Association
Third place — Track Adaptative Sports Association

Youth

First place — Our Lady of the Bay Catholic High School
Second place — Connaught Public School
Third place — Admiral Collingwood Public School
