Collingwood's Salvation Army Thrift Store is closed for now to both shoppers and clothing donations.
A sign posted to the Ste. Marie Street shop indicates the store is closed until further notice. The only reason given is "unforseen circumstances."
Major Calvin Collins, the pastor at Collingwood Salvation Army, declined to comment on the closure, but said it's temporary.
He would not elaborate further on the reasons for the closure, and didn't specify how long the shop would be closed or what future decisions would be made.
The foodbank and church remain open.
