David Wilcox and Ashley MacIsaac will headline the first annual Rock-toberfest celebration in Wasaga Beach, and tickets are going fast.
Rock-toberfest is a rock-music-inspired, uniquely Wasaga Beach take on the traditional Bavarian beer festival. It will take place on September 27 and September 28 at the RecPlex, located at 1724 Mosley Street in Wasaga Beach.
The two-day celebration of live music, craft beer, and Bavarian food and culture includes live performances by David Wilcox, Ashley MacIsaac, Grace 2 (Tragically Hip tribute band), Twin City Alpine Echo band, and more.
Rock-toberfest guests will enjoy exciting live performances; authentic Bavarian and Oktoberfest-style food provided by The Alphorn Restaurant; and local craft beer and beverages provided by Side Launch Brewing Company.

About the headliners
David Wilcox is an iconic Canadian artist who is celebrated for his extraordinary live performances, masterful guitar playing, soulful singing, and unique songwriting. With multiple gold and platinum albums, his music blends rock, blues, country, and ragtime. His hit singles include “Riverboat Fantasy,” “Downtown Came Uptown” and “Do The Bearcat”. He will perform at the Wasaga Beach RecPlex, in the Main Festival Hall, on September 28 at 9:30 p.m.
Ashley MacIsaac is a three-time JUNO Award-winning Canadian musician, known for his ability to mix fast and furious Cape Breton, Celtic style fiddling, traditional Scottish, Irish and Canadian folk music with a creative blend of other genres including rock, electronic, and hip-hop. He will perform live at the Wasaga Beach RecPlex, in the Main Festival Hall, on September 28 at 7:30 p.m.
About Rock-toberfest
Rock-toberfest is the first event to be organized by the Town’s new arms-length, not-for-profit corporation, Wasaga Beach Sports and Entertainment (WBSE). WBSE is focused on delivering demand-generating sports and live music events that align with the Town's tourism strategy to generate revenue to help pay for the Town's new $60 million twin-pad arena and library.
