Below are five area events among the many happening this weekend:

Collingwood Blues game

The Collingwood Blues will be facing the St. Michael’s Buzzers on Jan. 24 at 7 p.m. at the Eddie Bush Memorial Arena. There will be a special Shoot to Win for a Car (2025 GMC Terrain) contest taking place during the game.

Collingwood Seed Swap

The first Collingwood Seed Swap takes place Jan. 25 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Collingwood Youth Centre. Attendees are reminded that parking at the CYC is limited. All seed types will be accepted, and seeds should be brought in labelled envelopes with as much information as possible.

While there is no admission fee, donations are encouraged and will go toward the Environment Network’s food security initiatives.

The Dave Murphy Band will perform at Harbour Street Fish Bar on Jan. 25 starting at 8 p.m.

Bamtastic Drumming

Collingwood’s Bambalamb Kidd will be hosting a drum circle at the Welcome Centre at Blue Mountain Village from 2:30 to 3 p.m. on Jan. 25.
