PHOTOS: Coldest Night gets close to $200K for Home Horizon

Coldest Night of the Year is an annual fundraiser for Home Horizon, which supports youth at risk of homelessness

Collingwood and area residents enjoyed a chilly walk for a good cause on Saturday.

On Feb. 22, 390 people walked around Collingwood, starting and ending at Trinity United Church on Maple Street, for the Coldest Night of the Year fundraiser supporting Home Horizon.

Those walkers were part of 63 teams who helped raise $199,000 for Home Horizon programs, which includes Barbara Weider House, a transitional housing resource staffed 24 hours a day, seven days a week, with beds for 10 youth. Home Horizon supports youth at risk of homelessness in the community.

This was the 10th annual Coldest Night fundraiser for home Horizon.

Enjoy these photos from Saturday's event.
