More than 1,800 people donated to support teams of people who committed to skiing and/or snowboarding for 24 hours from Feb. 22-23 at Blue Mountain.
The seventh-annual 24h BLUE MTN fundraising event brought in over $160,000 (so far), which will be split between local Special Olympics Ontario teams and Blue Mountain Village Foundation. The money given to the foundation will be distributed as grants to local organizations and charities.
The ski and snowboard relay event has been taking place at Blue Mountain since 2018, always supporting Special Olympics and one other charity.
Donations can still be made online at this link.
