This Christmas season all kids (big and small) will have an opportunity to visit with Santa in his big sleigh when he comes to downtown Collingwood on Friday evenings and Saturday afternoons.

It is with great pleasure that we announce that Santa will be available for all to give him their wish lists in his big red sleigh, in front of the Federal Building (44 Hurontario St.) beside the beautiful Christmas Tree.

Everyone will be able to visit with Santa safely as he has installed a Plexiglas shield on his sleigh. He has confirmed all the correct protocols with the local health unit and the sleigh will be sanitized after each visit by his very busy elves. Of course, everyone is encouraged to wear a mask, even though we are visiting outdoors.

The times to visit Santa are:

Friday Evenings (as part of Downtown’s Christmas Market fun)

Dec. 11 and 18 – from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Saturday Afternoons

Dec. 12 and 19 – from 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.

After you have given your wish list to Santa, why not take the opportunity to explore some of the eighty plus boutique shops and artisans that downtown Collingwood has to offer.

Our downtown merchants are keeping your safety in mind while ensuring you are able to find the perfect gift – many offering on-line ordering, curbside pick-up, delivery, free gift wrapping and personal shopping after hours. Shop your neighbourhood for the holidays!
