Joe Roberts, who calls himself the skid row CEO, is in town today for a guest talk to deliver his personal story and message of resiliency and change.
Roberts was a homeless addict living on the streets of Vancouver in 1989 who pulled himself up and out to become a CEO of a Vancouver multimedia company and has received the Canada 150 medal from the Senate of Canada and the Meritorious Service Medal from the Governor General of Canada.
Roberts will be at Collingwood Collegiate Institute today from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. and the presentation is open to the public. You can registerfor a free seat at [email protected].
