5 vehicles stolen from Collingwood businesses

Officers from the Collingwood and The Blue Mountains detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are currently investigating the theft of five motor vehicles and various tools, all of which took place overnight in Collingwood. 

The thefts took place during the overnight hours at several businesses located on Ronnell Crescent and Sanford Fleming Drive. Suspect(s) gained access to the businesses and made off with vehicles located on the properties as well as some construction tools. 

So far two of the stolen vehicles were recovered however those that remain outstanding are described as a 2014 Subaru Crosstrek, green in colour with Ontario plate of 290YCC; a 2013 Ford Escape, black in colour with Ontario plate of AHVM 145 as well as a Dodge Ram pickup truck, black in colour, with Ontario plate of AE47206. 

The investigation is ongoing however officers are reminding business owners to report any suspicious activity or persons, to activate their alarms systems at closing time and ensure the video surveillance is in working order.
