Investigators received numerous tips, which assisted in identifying a 23-year-old Barrie man, who was wanted for human trafficking offences.
Upon further investigation, it had been determined the 23-year-old man had (allegedly) been trafficking a female youth from the City of Barrie.
(It is alleged that) he had been exploiting the victim in the sex trade for a period of time, and while exercising control over her actions and movements, he had been profiting.
The 23-year-old Barrie man has been charged with procuring, advertising sexual services, and derive a material benefit from sexual services.
He was scheduled to appear in a Barrie bail court Friday afternoon.
