Man arrested, charged with impaired driving after police get traffic tip

A Springwater Township man is facing impaired driving charges after police received a traffic tip. 

Police report that officers received a tip about a possible impaired driver and responded on Nov. 12 at 6:28 p.m. in Springwater, locating the vehicle on Bayfield Street. 

A 57-year-old man was arrested and charged with: 

  • Operation while Impaired - Alcohol and Drugs
  • Operation while Impaired - Blood Alcohol Concentration (80 plus)

The accused is scheduled to appear in court at a later date.
