Police charge man with impaired driving on Halloween night

Grey Bruce Ontario Provincial Police pulled a driver off the road yesterday evening and charged him for impaired driving, 

OPP report that on Oct. 31, at 5:42 p.m. officers responding to a traffic complaint pulled a vehicle and driver over on Highway 10 in Markdale. The driver, a 26-year-old from Melancthon, was charged with impaired driving, failure or refusal to comply with demand, and two counts of breaching a recognizance. 

The accused driver will face the charges in court in Owen Sound next month. 

Police suspended the driver's licence for 90 days and impounded the vehicle for seven days. 

"If you suspect that someone is driving while impaired by alcohol or drugs, it is important to call 9-1-1 to report it," stated the OPP news release. "The OPP relies on the public to report crime. Impaired driving is a crime that should be treated no differently.:
