Dec. 7 update:

Officers from the Collingwood and The Blue Mountains detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have now located 22-year-old John Vanderloo. He was located overnight in Collingwood safe and sound. Thank you for our media partners for carrying the media release

THE BLUE MOUNTAINS — Officers from the Collingwood and The Blue Mountains detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are currently attempting to locate a missing person and are asking for the public's assistance in the matter. 

Missing is 22-year-old John Vanderloo of Belwood, Ontario [north of Guelph]. He is described as 6'5" tall, approximately 170 pounds, has short blonde hair and blue eyes and was possibly wearing a grey coloured hooded jacket.

His vehicle was located in The Blue Mountains today (Dec. 6), however his whereabouts are unknown at this time and investigation is ongoing.
