A woman is facing charges after an officer saw suspicious activity Wednesday in Collingwood.

The incident happened just before midnight on Spruce Street, where the officer saw the woman “moving repeatedly up and down residential driveways,” Collingwood and The Blue Mountains OPP said in a news release.

The officer made a U-turn to investigate, and the woman fled on foot. She was soon located crouched behind a vehicle that was parked in a driveway.

The 27-year-old Collingwood woman has been charged with possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000, trespassing at night, and failure to comply with probation. She has a March 18 court date in Collingwood.
