A Clearview woman is facing impaired-driving-related charges after police received a traffic tip on Monday afternoon about a possible impaired driver on Mill Street.
Officers from the Huronia West detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) patrolled the Mill Street area and found the vehicle from the complaint at the owner's home.
"Officers noticed an odour of alcohol on the driver's breath which led into an impaired driving investigation," states a news release from OPP.
Police charged a 58-year-old from Clearview with:
- Operation while Impaired - Blood Alcohol and Drugs
- Operation while Impaired - Blood Alcohol Concentration (80 Plus)
The accused is scheduled to appear in court at a later date.
