Police arrested and charged two Meaford residents after being called out to a property for reported trespassing.
Grey Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were called to a Meaford property on June 23 at 3:56 p.m. for a report of two people trespassing. The report said one person was still on the property and the second had left on foot.
Police found both people, a 57-year-old man and 26-year-old man, and charged them both with theft under $5,000. The 36-year-old was also charged with possession of methamphetamine.
Both are scheduled to appear in court on June 25.
The Grey Bruce OPP want residents to call 1-888-310-1122 or 911 if they suspect someone is trespassing on their property.
